Welcome to the actual 1st, FIRST episode of Game Night! w/ Erik Kain & Jason Rose. We delve into a lot of games media culture stuff right off the bat; why is everyone afraid of China? G4TV was an adventure doomed to fail and should have been launched Guerilla warfare style with talented people instead of with an army of mostly unlikable people. Bayonetta is straight in Bayo3 and that’s a problem, we guess? Should have been obvious but hey, we never questioned it.
Overwatch 2 was our recommendation for eachother last episode and we both came away un-impressed and hiding our wallets. Free to play sure doesn’t feel that free in 2022. Then some Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Final Fantasy XVI news along with a nice discussion about why Nintendo’s hardware stinks and then we disagree on XBOX’s past, present and ultimately future potential.
